Complete care from your multidisciplinary team
Orthopaedic Surgeon
Orthotist / Podiatrist
Physiotherapist
Each member of the team, brings their specialist knowledge to your management plan.
The primary role of the Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Surgeon is to provide an overview, rapidly determining the correct diagnosis and monitoring your progress.
Only one aspect of the surgeons role is performing surgical procedures. By working collaboratively with each member of your team your surgeon ensures you have optimised all potential conservative options to reduce the likelihood that you will require an operation.
If procedure is required your non-surgical conservative management optimises and enhances your pre and post-op recovery.

Sore feet or ankles are just like a pounding headache or toothache. The pain is often a constant distraction from the things you should, or want, to be doing. But just like a sore head, often all you get is lip service sympathy from family, friends or colleagues.
Getting to the root of your problem, coupled with a well constructed management plan, can make all the difference to progressing your recovery quickly.
